Paul Spivak OD
Paul Spivak OD is a highly respected optometrist and the founder of Dormont Vision Center, where he has been proudly providing comprehensive medical and visual eye care since 1972. With over five decades of experience, Dr. Spivak is known for his clinical expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to personalized, compassionate patient care.
A fixture in the Dormont community, Dr. Spivak has earned the trust of generations of patients. His practice has become a local institution, reflecting his unwavering dedication to excellence and service.
Outside of optometry, Dr. Spivak leads a full and active life. He enjoys bike riding, attending Pittsburgh Steelers and Pitt basketball games, and spending quality time with those closest to him. He shares a deep love and lifelong partnership with his wife, Sheila, to whom he has been happily married for over 50 years. Dr. Spivak’s greatest joy comes from his family, and he is deeply proud of the strong bonds they share.

Monica Sanago OD, FAAO
Monica Sanago received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences at The University of Guelph, Canada, and Doctor of Optometry degree at The Ohio State University College of Optometry.
Eager to further her education she pursued an ocular disease residency with a subspecialty in scleral lenses at The Atlantic Eye Physicians in New Jersey. During that time, she earned and is now a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
Throughout her career, she has focused on anterior and posterior segment ocular disease, urgent eye concerns, foreign bodies, and double vision. She continues to practice in these areas and strives to make every patient feel comfortable and welcome while providing the highest quality of care.
In her free time, Dr. Sanago enjoys running, playing soccer, and reading. She also likes spending time with friends and visiting the different neighborhoods in Pittsburgh.
She participates actively in the Western Pennsylvania Optometric Association and is proud to be serving her community.
